"We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. "The owner only sent entry instructions after i emailed the day before asking about them. Hotels.com said pets stayed for free but we were charged £7 per night. We couldn't get the shower to warm up. There were no instructions for anything in the cabin. The beds are very small doubles. Strangely there was no kettle in the lodge. It needs a lot of TLC. One positive is the setting is stunning. It's well overpriced for what you get. "

"Absolutely fantastic place , couldn’t fault it if I wanted to . Really peaceful and was great just to sit back and listen to the wildlife . We also went for a walk to the waterfall. I would recommend it to anyone. Jack , the host was also fantastic, he couldn’t do enough for us . Can’t wait to return . "

"We had a lovely stay at Plas Y Bryn Manor. It’s a beautiful old building with lots of character, once home to David Lloyd George, one of the UK’s former prime ministers. From the moment we arrived, our host gave us a really warm welcome and shared a bit about the history, which made it feel extra special. The breakfast staff were all so friendly and polite. The complementary breakfast was a highlight – it felt really social sitting around a long antique table in the main reception hall. The location is perfect too: peaceful and quiet with stunning mountain views, and you can even see the water in the distance. There’s plenty to do nearby as well. We came for the Menai Food Festival and the next day went cycling around Anglesey, which was brilliant. All in all, it’s a great mix of history, comfort, and incredible scenery – a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway."
