"Nicer than 3* - great value for money, nice food and reasonable prices - didn’t bring my dogs this time but was noticeably dog friendly so I would bring them another time. We arrived very early and we couldn’t check in early but could leave the car for free and explore. "This lodging was everything I needed. The room was clean and well appointed. As the owner is working on a full restoration of the property he public hall wallpapers haven’t been done yet but as soon as you get into the rooms they are very nice."

"Had an incredible stay at this cosy hotel/pub! The staff were beyond friendly, making us feel welcomed right from the start. The bed was the epitome of comfort, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after each exciting day. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Sunday carvery being a highlight – it's a hit with the locals too, so a tip for future guests: make sure to book in advance. Overall, a 10/10 experience, easily one of the best places I've stayed at."
