"We had reserved an apartment since we wanted an extra room with a separate sitting area. Unfortunately, it was hot and an air conditioning unit in the sitting room was out of service. Immediately, hotel staff offered us to switch for two adjacent bedrooms with an additional bed, but no sitting arrangement. Also they said that they will call a repairman to fix the problem. Since we did not need a second bed to sit on we decided to wait for the repair service. We stayed for 3 days abut the unit had not been fixed. We had asked a couple of times about the status of the repair, but staff seemed to be upset with our questions, since they had offered additional bedroom and we refused. "

"Been to the Hotel a few times but this experience without a doubt was the worse. 1) I understand that this is a kid friendly Hotel but surely at 21h00 it should not sound like a kindergarten at break time outside. (kids screaming, crying and doors banging) 2) When one actually complains about the noise levels outside the room one was approached with a less than sympathetic person on the other side that wants to tell you about the law and noise levels after 22h00. I eventually got someone to answer after the 4th number I called. 3) The room was dusty, spiderwebs on the wooden beams, beds was creeky and hard, only one pillow hardly offers any comfort. 4) The room might of been a twin but it is a big difference from the other rooms where one actually has a desk to play with the Lego's in the room. 5) Extractor in the toilet did not work, soap holder in the shower kept falling down, poorly secured with some shoddy double sided tape, ceiling around the extractor in shower (also not working) looks like it unfinished. 6) The reception to Hotel is confusing, no clear indication where one should check in or atleast that was missed by me, eventually met by someone that seemed like they where still under training at the shop. 7) The outside play area was under renovation with a sign use at own risk and a big do not enter sign, no where was this play area closure communicated to me. On a positive note, the restaurant service was pleasant, the person serving was friendly and very accom"

"This is not a hotel--not between 7 pm and 9 am. It is an essentially empty building with rooms in it. I was traveling through the area and Hradec Kralove was a good stopping point. This looked like a nice enough small hotel from the website. But when when I got there, there is no one there. I got an email the night before informing me of the dismal office hours and with instructions on how to access the room. I got a code to punch in. This was much more like an airbnb-type place, only not really furnished and nothing but a bed, a tiny fridge and a small shower room. Plus side: the wifi worked great. The website says that parking is available. Yeah, right. Public parking a good 10 minutes walk away. It was snowy and icy. Beware! if you have walking/balance issues. You CANNOT park on the street or you will get towed. They knew I was driving and needed to park, but they didn't arrange anything. Once I got there and discovered the parking situation, I called a number hanging on a wall and though the young lady was literally just 50 yards away in a different building, she couldn't come to give me a parking pass for the night on the street. I had to drive to the public parking garage and then walk back. At least I didn't get towed while figuring it out. At least the room was very clean - 100% wood floors. Think Spartan. The heating is old radiator style. Not efficient. No breakfast. I left early and checkout was simply leaving the room door closed. I will go elsewhere next time."

"We had a really nice stay at the Hotel Koruna. The staff were excellent. The hotel backs onto the historic Karlova Koruna and we had a view over the extensive grounds. We had a delicious meal at the Zamecka restaurace which is close to Hotel Koruna."
