Great hotel in old Paraty

A Great, small hotel in the center of old Paraty close to shops, restaurants and the harbour. Very nice accommodations, friendly service, great food and everyone super helpful. We had a great stay, warmly recommend Literaria and we will be back!

An all round brilliant hotel - lovely rooms, great location and really helpful staff. They were also really helpful with our baby providing a beautiful cot and helping with baby food.

Awesome Pousada in Paraty

We came to Paraty for a 2 days stay and loved the Pousada and the village. The rooms are super comfortable, the service is as friendly as it gets, the restaurant is great and the whole grounds are manicured to perfection. 100% worth the trip

The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome.

This is a very special pousada! It's a lovely oasis in a lively and fascinating old town. Literaria is extremely conveniently located, spanning a car-accessible street on one end and the old, now-pedestrian centre of town on the other. The staff are extremely accommodating, and a special shout-out to the front-desk team, who were absolutely awesome. The amenities (except perhaps for the gym, which is small. But you should be walking around anyway!) are top-notch. They offer a nice breakfast spread. I would definitely make this my choice next time I'm in Paraty.

Tivemos uma estadia fantástica na Literária, em Paraty. O hotel consegue um equilíbrio raro entre elegância e acolhimento — sofisticado sem ser formal ou rígido. A atmosfera é um dos seus maiores destaques. O jardim e os pátios são muito bem cuidados e criam uma sensação de tranquilidade e privacidade, mesmo estando a poucos minutos a pé do centro histórico. Os quartos são decorados com muito bom gosto e atenção aos detalhes. Tudo parece pensado com cuidado, nada genérico, e o nível de conforto é excelente. O serviço foi um dos pontos altos da estadia. A equipe da recepção e do atendimento foi excepcional — sempre atenciosa, simpática e profissional. A equipe do bar e da piscina também foi muito simpática, embora o atendimento pudesse ser um pouco mais atento e proativo. O café da manhã merece destaque especial. Foi excelente — muito bem apresentado, com alta qualidade e uma ótima combinação de opções locais e clássicas. No geral, a Literária é mais do que um lugar para se hospedar — faz parte da experiência de Paraty. Uma escolha perfeita para quem busca algo boutique, tranquilo e com um toque de sofisticação.

Pousada incrível!!! Fiquei encantada com a pousada, transmite uma paz com sua área verde e os pássaros cantando. Café da manhã excelente com produtos diretamente da Fazenda Bananal. Quarto confortável e limpo. O restaurante da pousada também muito bom. Atendimento do staff foi ótimo, sempre prontos para atender seus pedidos e necessidades. No check-out eles te entrega um kit com verduras e legumes orgânicos da fazenda, eu amei!! Localização excelente, na rua principal do centro histórico. Já quero voltar em breve!!
