There’s not much going on in Panzoult - but it is a good base to get to Chinon and Azay-le-Rideau if you’re happy to drive and not drink. I would probably stay in Azay-le-Rideau for a few days next time.

We stayed at hotel for convenience to get to a different Chateau each day from St Pierre de corps gare. Being right next to station you expect noise, which was ok with ear plugs each night.
