The team led by Giovanni were polite, efficient, moved us to new rooms & made sure that our stay was so enjoyable. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I recommend you stay at this hotel as it is also central to all major attractions in Palmero. I have it 5 stars.

Quaint hotel.

It is a very well kept quaint hotel. You could say it's vintage. The front desk service was outstanding. The room is large enough and the bathroom was okay. I wished it had a kettle for tea or a refrigerator, but to no avail.

The AC kept going off the first night at 5 am woke up sweating mid Sep. The next day same thing. The employees were very nice, coming to our room to fix it, but 3rd morning the owner was there and was rude, and said temperature is set at 24 degrees and said people turn it off usong the phone. I explained that as soon we arrived the AC was turned on, but every couple of hours went off, leaving us sweating in the middle of the night. At one point the owner walked away, mid way during our conversation.

They have friendly, welcoming, attentive and professional staff. It’s safe, very clean, spacious and beautiful city view from my hotel room balcony. Bed was very comfortable. It’s a bus ride from and to the airport. It’s well located to public transport. Nearby plenty of historical places to visit. Walkable to plenty of restaurants, bars, cafe and shopping. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Highly recommended when visiting Palermo.

At the outset, yes, I would stay here again. On the plus side, it’s conveniently located close to the station and a short walk from much else. The staff was very nice and someone is at the desk 24x7. One the downside, the hotel’s one-time grandure is history and there’s nothing “nice” about it. If you’re OK with that, then you’ll enjoy a nice, functional stay.

It was convenient. The staff was very courteous and helped me to access my email which had had an overseas hold on it. The hotel was in walking distance of the train station and had several city bus routes serve the place. The dining was good. I explored the light rail system. Overall, very good!

Great location and loved the classic rooms with high ceilings. Could walk almost everywhere and convenient to train station when we needed public transportation and airport access. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The low rating was due to minimal connectivity via WI-FI, extremely small shower with mold, and air conditioner that worked but had to call front desk to turn it on/off. They did not leave the control in the room. Happily it was not extremely hot when we were there.

This hotel is in an excellent location if you like to walk to the historical sites. And there are many. But for the hop/on:hop/off buses and trolley trains it’s a hike. I really wanted to go to the catacombs but it was a 38 minute walk. This is an older building so furniture and bedding are old and uncomfortable. You have to ask for air conditioning or they keep it off. 5euro breakfast was nice but since it was all pastry, cereal, ham & cheese it should have been included in price. My room was very dark so I had to keep overhead lights on. Be sure to ask for a large window if you decide to stay there
