This is not a 4 star hotel despite the advertised rating. It is an old facility in urgent need of an upgrade. For example, the Astro turf up in the 12th floor terrace is in urgent need of replacement. To be fair, the room and bathroom were clean and adequate. Is not the hotel’s fault but its location is far from the city center and without easy access. The taxi rides in Palermo are expensive and must be factored in when calculating the total cost of your stay. Only some members of the staff were friendly. On the positive side, the price was relatively inexpensive but stay away from the hotel restaurant. The food there was mediocre and expensive although the person in charge was nice.

The over all experience was really poor. The hotel is rated as 4 starts and affordable, but it shouldn’t be raided that high. The beds and rooms are nothing like in the pictures. It is far away from everything. I chose it because I thought even far away from center the experience was going to be good but it wasn’t. There were mosquitoes in the room, not able to get an extra pillow, plus mattress was really old, and you can tell it needs to be replaced. It was quiet and friendly staff. Maybe if you are traveling with your car could be an option but not recommended for tourist that want to experience Palermo.

Great location but that’s all!

Location was excellent! The room was old and uncomfortable. The bar was extremely overpriced! A double espresso for 4 euro that is more expensive than Starbucks! Gin and tonic for 16 Euro! At most bars in Palermo you pay less than half these prices! They definitely take advantage of the convenience factor!

Enjoyed our stay, okay accommodation

It was overall a nice and pleasant stay. Fantastic roof terrace with ocean and mountain view, bar open in the evening. We spend quite some time in the bars, friendly and service minded bartenders. Some places look a bit worn down, but price taken into consideration, it's okay and fair. But if your looking for top dollar, first class and spotless, this may not be it. Limited parking space. We didn't speak italian, so communication was often a challenge. But we enjoyed our vacation a lot.
