"Great location in old city central"

"I didn’t mind all of the stairs but people who have difficulties with stairs might not want to stay here. I enjoyed the terrace with views of the old town plus a good place to relax. The breakfast was very good, the woman taking care of everything was so sweet."

"People were extremely courteous and professional."

"Room was excellent and staff was responsive over WhatsApp. Only issue was that it was quite loud at night due to being so close to Quatro Canti. Otherwise the location made being a tourist very easy and the room quality and breakfast were great."

"Not good"

"Fantastic location, great staff, and great room. Breakfast was the only thing that could have improved in every area fruit, salads, breads - made to order eggs were an additional cost which is not normal when you pay 400 Euros per night."

"An excellent spot in Palermo walking distance to all the markets, cathedrals and restaurants. The hotel is very unique and the staff very helpful"

"Location was perfect. Walkable to many sites. Staff was very helpful, carried my luggage up steps. Great, affordable option. I recommend staying here."

"This was a last minute booking and it was difficult to find. You have to go in through this tiny door that opens up into a common area and then up stairs to find the reception desk. Also, they are not there all the time. We had to tell them precisely what time we were arriving so they would be at the desk. The room was clean and nice and it was a great neighborhood."

"Palazzo Achates was perfect for us! It is in the center of old town on a quiet street and has been fully renovated with a beautiful modern minimalist design. I booked the last room available which, was described as small, but it was actually quite roomy and lovely. The owner answered all requests promptly and was wonderfully welcoming! He made us feel assured that the keycard entry to the hotel itself would work smoothly at any hour of the night, and it did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"The Quintocanto hotel was perfectly located for us. It lived up to its great reviews from other travellers. The front desk staff were helpful. We also ate at the associated restaurant Gusto next door and very much enjoyed it."

"The room was spacious with comfortable beds. The staff were generally helpful and the breakfast options were adequate. There was plenty of places to sit, although we did visit in early October and I can imagine it getting very busy. The hotel is situated at the end of a busy road with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The main sites are at the other end of road, but it’s just a 20-30 minutes’ walk to reach them. Overall, I found the hotel a good place to base ourselves to explore...

"Breakfast booking restrictive"

"It’s a beautiful hotel on one of the main streets of Palermo with easy and quick access to the historic city. (If you are a light sleeper or not used to city noises, this may be a little too loud for you. It did not bother us - we enjoyed the vibrancy.) They had a beautiful and delicious breakfast with lots of variety of hot and cold food. Our suite was very spacious, beautiful and nicely designed. All in all, it was lovely."
