"The room was clean, but noisy. The toilet didn't flush well, I had to press the button for 30 times to do a flush. I like to thank the front desk staffs who helped me to check in and check out, they were all polite and friendly. The room attendants were nice too. I appreciated that very much. The terrible experience was from the restaurant. On April 18 local time. When I walked in no one greeted me nor asked if I wanted any coffee. I observed when other guests came in, the staff greeted them and asked what kind of coffee they wanted. The local tour guides taught us to do things slowly so I was trying to do that, the breakfast was ok, I ate slowly and then tried to plan for my itinerary, I believed for a total of 1.5 hours or so, when I went for my last cup of tea and back to the table, they already cleaned the table, one of the staff, an older gentleman with grey hair and black frame eye glasses suddenly yelled and lashed out at me, "You are here for two hours, two hours" then he continued saying things in Italian and walked behind me to somewhere....he was probably scolding me in Italian. His coworker and even some guests could hear it, his rude behavior was totally unacceptable, the worst that I have ever encountered, what have I done to deserve that? If you are working in service sector, there is no room for prejudice, discrimination, nor rude manner toward any customers. Of course I did not go back to that restaurant anymore!! "

"It was a very old hotel with unique features. Only stayed 1 night, which was fine. If you are staying longer you might want something a little more updated and comfortable. Location was great to explore the city!"

"I stayed here for the Bologna children's book fair and it was an absolutely incredible location, so central and above all a beautiful hotel to stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the breakfast was gorgeous and the room stunning. So many incredible details and attention to care including 24 desk service. The hotel packed me a breakfast bag for my early 3am flight and booked a taxi for me. I felt very well looked after here which whilst travelling alone felt lovely, highly recommend!"

"The room was of a good size, but the bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The shower was not so good. Close to the train station, and not too far from downtown. Very good breakfast!"

"Splendid lobby; excellent bar; good restaurant; great location; quiet. But some staff had an attitude interacting with guests and there were numerous problems with the room, particularly the bathroom: shower door didn’t close, soaking the entire bathroom floor; no shelf in the shower requiring keeping toiletries on the floor. Sink would not drain and had to be serviced. Keys to the room didn’t work and had to be replaced. One of the receptionists presented a card (for a key) without programming it."

"This is the location to stay when location is key. This hotel is located within walking distance to just about everything you could want to do. It has parking close by. And the managers responsiveness is top notch!!"
