"This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small, family-run boutique. When I had trouble dealing with noise from the street due to migraines, they moved me to a quieter room. When I got an ear infection, one of their workers walked me to a medical clinic and helped me with the appointment. The family even invited me to go bicycling with them. "

Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! "

"A fine and warmly family operated old building tastefully updated to meet the needs of travelers visiting the area. And just an easy block and a half walk from the Plaza Grande; what more could you ask for? looking hard to find something to fault, the only thing I can think of is that the showerhead was a little difficult to reach in order to direct the flow of water. I hope that Lucia and her son Luis will be there to welcome me when I next visit their fair city."

"From the moment I booked my stay at this property, I was already in constant communication with Freddy at the front desk for whatever questions I may have. Freddy set up my hotel pick both ways. It was easy and comfortable. Javier was also punctual as much as he can. I took the tram to the mountains to see the views of Quito then spent 4 hrs at the Middle of the World park. "Beautifully maintained property in a traditional building near the Historic Center of Quito. Beautiful woodwork with modern and traditional art in the rooms and hallways. Plumbing, bedding and wifi are all modern and completely functional. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast are delicious. "
