Amazing food in the restaurant and breakfast was also good The staff are really helpful and friendly Lovely garden outside The coffee Lodge is a nice cosy spot The room we stayed at was 217 and it was better than expected, the bathroom was spotless and the bed was comfy, the interior was so stunning. I would definitely stay here again "

"Within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants so perfect location with free parking. We stayed in a very comfortable suite lots of space to relax and lovely view over the garden. Very quiet at night and a good selection of food for breakfast hot and cold. Will definitely stay again. "

"The pool / gym facilities are a real highlight of this hotel and the kids loved having a swim. Sadly I was disappointed with many other aspects. The hotel is well maintained but the cleanliness of the room we were in was questionable! The kettle was dusty and had stale water sat in the bottom. As it was I couldn’t make a drink as the cups and tea spoons were so dusty and dirty and had either never been used and just gathered dust or grime or had not been changed from a previous occupier. We were here for 2 nights but housekeeping changed towels but nothing else - no beds made, no bins emptied. This was despite leaving the card out asking for our room to be refreshed. There were also used cups / wine glasses left outside my room for 2 days that were not ours and had either been left by another resident or house keeping. Either way they should not have been there for that amount of time. Breakfast doesn’t begin till 8am at the weekends which we found to be a little late. Also the queues at the hot food were really long straight away, which probably means that many others thought it started too late as well. The staff were friendly, beds comfortable but rather small and a real lack of drawer storage and no space for toiletries in the bathroom. Overall an okay stay for a quick stop over stay but I wouldn’t rush back. "
