"No door on the bathroom in the bedroom, which wouldn't be a problem if I couldn't see the toilet from the bed. If you'd like privacy when you go to the toilet, this might not be for you. But other than that, the venue is amazing and the staff were incredible"

"It could be a lovely hotel if the staff smiled and had a clue what was going on. There was a lovely and friendly lady on reception, and one of the waiter serving in the evening was friendly, as was one of the bar staff (Josh). Everyone else seemed a bit surprised to have guests, and the women working at the bar weee positively rude in their demeanour. It could definitely do with an injection of cash to update it. "Great stay in Stow on the Wold! Rooms retain the charm of the area while having modern furnishings. Ideal location to explore the cotswolds."

"On main road, so noisy from​ traffic and people. The weather was warm and the room had no air condition, but it was very noisy to open the windows. The electric fan provided was industrial​ type, too strong and noisy too. The shelves were covered with dust as was the mirror. In the morning, the chef did not show up to work, and the waiter could not even to warm a muffin!?"

"No air con on my room as it was broken! And they didn’t have another room for me. The room was ok, but very dark as I needed to keep the curtains shut to keep out the sun and there was only one very old bedside table lamp. I stayed for 2 nights but my room wasn’t serviced. I seriously question the 4* rating here, although the pool area was lovely"
