"Caroline was great at check in. As there were problems with laundry room, she called Dan who came over, in the evening. He was very apologetic for the situation of badly needed new washers and dryers. They are old and parts hard to get. It’s a great ambiance otherwise, with a restaurant attached that was great. Good food, waitress and bartender. Very convenient as there’s nothing else around. Nice and peaceful. I would stay here again."

"What a drastic difference from Yellowstone’s Canyon Lodge! The room was larger and more updated, and the food options were much better. The kids also really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the free wildlife talk by a campfire with s’mores. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The only downside for our family was the lack of self service laundry. The views from the back of the building were amazing! The food at the Mural restaurant was very good, but the views near sunset were honestly better from the Blue Heron. If you are looking for affordable food, hit the Pioneer Grill early and then walk the trail behind the lodge at sunset. The kids loved it!"

"There was no room air conditioner, A fan was in the closet for cooling needs. There was no refrigerator provided, There was no microwave oven either. The room was very nice though and the bed was very comfortable. The television didn’t work until the gentleman at the front desk came and fixed something on the back of the set. We ordered a bagged lunch one evening at the Whetstone restaurant, which served dinners. We inquired about it at the Grill, their breakfast and luncheon restaurant. Our waitress told us to go next door to the Whetstone to pick it up. We went there, it was locked and no one would come to the door. We went back to the Grille and we were again told to go back to the Whetstone. We went back to the Whetstone and after some time knocking on various doors two young ladies came out and told us to go back to the Grille. We did and again the people at the grille said to go back to the Whetstone. We next went to the front desk and talked with the gentleman there. He called the Grille and asked them why they were sending us to the Whetstone when they should be giving us our bagged lunch at the Grille. We went back to the Grille and they gave us our lunch there. Apparently the mixup was due to the waitress at the Grille thinking that we wanted to set up to order a bagged lunch, not pick one up, even though we clearly stated that we wanted to pick up a bagged lunch that we had ordered the previous day at the Whetstone restaurant."

"Very clean establishment overall. Staff was very refreshing and welcoming. If you’re looking to book a place to stay with equal distance from Teton and Yellowstone this is the place for you. Suggest downloading the map before hand, there’s little to no service here."
