"Hotel was about 30 minutes outside Bloomington but was perfect! Surrounded by trees and very quiet!! We loved it! Rooms clean, staff was friendly! Breakfast was great! We recommend a stay if you want to be outside a busy city."

"Rooms were not the cleanest, sheets and blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. Shower curtains were stained. Service never came to clean room or bring clean towels"

"This was our first stay at this very new property. It just opened in September. Rooms are clean and updated. Very nice furniture, new carpets, new beds etc. The cleanliness outside of the hotel needs work. Lots of leftover construction dirt. Trash cans were full and not emptied. We got there at 3:45 for a 3pm check in and rooms were not ready. Staffing seems to be an issue as it is for many hotels in Bloomington. Staff was pleasant. "Condition of Air conditioning was very poor. Was making lots noise. We couldn’t sleep. There was spider web at few spots and spider as well."

"It was historic, quiet, simple and priced great. The owners are great and very cordial. The outside of the hotel looks like a palace and has been around a very long time. Love the stone and stone lions."

"The room was not clean. Kitchenette was fine probably doesn’t get used much and convenient. Bathroom was horrid there was dust on upper cabinet space. Seriously a simple wet rag would take care of that but it looked like ornament been touched in a very long time which concerns me for the rest of the room. I was seriously afraid to sleep in the beds and carpet in the room in a college town is also concerning"

Would not pay this much for this hotel otherwise—but, lots of space, clean room, many restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bed. Quiet at night. Able to bring our dog. Plenty if space for our daughter to visit and spend time with us. Do notice the somewhat worn conditions of some things. Just fyi—boil water advisory while we were here. Set your child up with a...

"Bed looked like it was slept in... Thermostat was locked and un-adjustable... No drinking water or breakfast or any food for that matter as advertised. No live TV (only paid apps tv were available (Was there during the World Series... not cool) But the coffee maker worked. Good work guys!"
