"The hotel has a brilliant location with views over the lake and Mt. Fuji. The hotel was probably at its best 20 + years ago but seems dated now. There were damaged fittings in the ceiling, the tech is poor (shaky WiFi, TV not able to cast etc) and such a large amount of floor space taken up by unused communal areas. Had half board and it was getting a bit repetitive after the third day."

"Quite old hotel but charming, with nice views. We stayed in a tatami room and the futon beds were very comfortable! We also benefited from the free shuttle service of the hotel to Kawaguchiko station. Only downside might be the location as there isn’t much around especially at night.Shoutout to the kind, senior gentleman (which I believe was the owner) for helping us contact JR East regarding our lost phone and being so helpful in finding it out.
