"Sehr schöne "Boutique-Hotel" Anlage mit großen Zimmern mit vielen Fenstern ... vom Balkon hatten wir einen schönen Blick in den tropischen Garten und auf den zweiten Pool. Zum Hotel gehört auch in 100m Entfernung ein Restaurant direkt am Strand, wo wir gerne für das Abendbier den Tag ausklingen ließen. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich. Die Lage ist toll, da in einem sehr ruhigen Teil von Nungwi gelegen."

"Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic. "We had a very nice stay at Ellavita Cottages. The room was cozy and Tina and Khalifa are very nice hosts. They are always there when you have a problem and can help you with everything. They also know the place well so any question concerning activites can be answered. The breakfast is also delicious. Would definitely recommend and come back if we would go to Nungwi again. "
