Great stay

Fantastic and responsive staff, excellent food, very nice view from the room overlooking the sea, comfortable room. What we liked less: signing the bills for each drink or meal even though we were all inclusive... boring... lack of entertainment and atmosphere, and when there was entertainment they started too early, while people were eating and couldn't enjoy it, and they finished too early (9:30 p.m.) to be able to enjoy it after eating... and the fact of not being able to take advantage of the all inclusive on the day of departure between the noon check out and the pick up time, asking us to pay for drinks after check out when we spent 10 nights at the all inclusive price is a bit mean

Stayed in a sea view room which was fabulous, great outlook and easy assess to the beach area. Room was spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly and service was really good, a little slow at times but you’re on Zanzibar time so you get used to it. There was a good few places to venture out to around the hotel and even walking in the village was lovely! Do be prepared to be approached every two mins by the locals but they are all very friendly and do eventually stop and leave you to carry on with your day. Overall we loved our stay in this hotel and would recommend highly to anyone thinking of booking.

I had a wonderful stay at Turaco. The room was nice, there was food variety, the staff were generally nice, and the ambiance was chill. But I would like suggest few things that could make the experience even better. 1- Improve the Wi-Fi connection, especially at the public places as the connection kept on dropping. 2- Hotel resorts in Nungwi shall come together to clean the beaches and remove the sea weeds at least once a week. 3- improve entertainment include more outdoor games and music. 4- Let customers know in advance that juice and soda are not included in diner to avoid any surprise bills.

The facilities were clean. Amenities were good. Beach is accessible from the resort and it's a short walk into town. Wish there were more food choices at the buffet but the food was good.

Nice resort, but a little to pricey.

This is a nice resort with a good amount of sunbeds around the pool and beach. Nice rooms. The price i quite high, and one of the reasons is that they also have half and full board and all inclusive option available as well. This makes the resort feel less exclusive. When we booked the half board had same price as bed and breakfast so you're kind of forced to take it. When we signed the dinner check the included buffet dinner was valued at about 40 USD pr person. I would have been so much more happy if they knocked that or most of that of the room price so that we could have used the ala cart resturant instead or you could have voucher with that value to use in the ala carte restaurant.

This hotel and its amenities were subpar. The Wi-Fi hardly worked. The television was non-functional. The meals were not tasty. There are cats scattered all over the dining area when you’re eating. But the staff were great!

We stayed here for four nights and decided to have only breakfast include so we could try different restaurants around for the other meals. The breakfast assortment was big and pretty decent. The room was spacious but we could see it was a bit old and very used. The staff was always nice and available for every necessity.

The staff was excellent, I felt right at home good food great juices and coffee. There was a band performing the night I was there very good vibe. The beach is exceptionally beautiful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend nungwi beach resort

Wonderful resort!

We stayed here for 5 days and it was so relaxing! The resort is beautifully done with all the amenities: pool, spa, shops, restaurants, entertainment and private beach area with deck chairs for hotel guests. The food was great - We had breakfast included and ate a few time at their Fisherman's Grill restaurant. We saw they also offer half-board or all inclusive with a variety of food choices, if you prefer this option. The room was lovely and spacious - we booked a seaview room and it was directly on the beach. Had all the amenities, good air conditioning, shower and comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and so friendly. Always available to help and made our stay perfect! Would happily stay here again!
