"One night stay at this place for our backpacking trip. Love the location and cleanliness. Didn’t have much daylight left by the time we settle down for the night. Took a little stroll to take a glimpse of what’s left of the sunset. It sure was beautiful. "

"There were many fees that were not disclosed. For example there is a parking fee for every night you stay that is not mentioned until you reach for check in. There is also a “resort” fee that was not disclosed even though it is a hotel. So there’s an extra charge that you will have to spend outside of your package booking. Just be aware the parking fee is for every night and the “resort” fee is for each night spent at the hotel. The concierge charged extra for activities, but if you would book...

"The only positive part of this hotel was the staff. Every employee was extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a huge disappointment. The property was under heavy construction, but this was never properly communicated before booking. Entire areas were being remodeled, including the lobby, hallways, and the floor above our room. The building layout became a complete maze due to temporary detours, and even other guests were constantly...

"The oceanfront views are excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. Comfy bed and nice balcony. Renovated bathroom with oversized tub but challenging entry/exit which could be resolved with handle assist. Great parking and awesome pool with waterfall. "

"The resort is self is old, but the location is awesome and most of the people that work. There are very friendly except for one gentleman who is extremely rude. They really need to have their rooms a little bit cleaner."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple with fresh fruit and grab and take items. They do have a microwave. Parking was great! Loved the ocean view and easy access to restaurants, beaches and walking paths. Were disappointed with the one bathroom window that was in need of repair around the frame. It had very dark stuff around it like dirt, rust or mold(??)."

"Staff took care of our room every day and it felt great to return back to our room ar night with it reset and cleaned. The pool was great. We loved our view and would enjoy that same view again. I would recommend this location to anyway who wants to be on beach. That was the best part. "

"Completely enjoyed our stay at the Koa’Kea resort. The location is breathtaking, right on the beach. We loved the daily yoga classes to help kickstart our days. We appreciate the smaller scale of the resort, it did not feel overwhelming like a big resort. Thank to all the guests services staff for making our first time in Kauai, feel like a true relaxing vacation. "
