"Excellent hotel for a quiet retreat. Only inconvenient is that it is far from Kanchanaburi and surprisingly there is no tuk tuk waiting at the hotel to take you around 😃 so either you need your car or request a taxi from the reception. A special thanks to the lady at the reception who organised a driver to the Erawan Falls and the caves. And a special thank to the manager (I am assuming she is) of the bar/restaurant and "Nice" the lovely waitress who served is breakfast every mornings."

"This was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve stayed at globally. It was so quaint and authentic. The setting was beautiful, at the end of the road made it quiet with trees and plants around to seclude. At the very end it overlooked the river and the pool was perfectly positioned. The restaurant is open all day and had a very extensive menu of Thai and Western foods at very reasonable prices. We ate here at every meal. Included breakfast was a choice of eggs on toast, cereal, pancakes or muesli plus drinks. The room was large with AC. The bathroom was a wet room with an electric shower that wasn’t particularly heated but it wasn’t needed in the Thai weather! Location allowed a good walk to the River Kwai bridge and outside of the war cemetery & death museum. "

"This place has the feel of a 5 star resort that once was, years ago. It needs many repairs and a lot of cleaning, but most of all it needs solid leadership to make it a reputable place I would recommend for above average where it could be with simple cleaning and repairs. The dirt and grim are sustained deposits of neglect. Easy repairs exists (like simple door locks) abundantly. The area is profoundly beautiful and a great site to enjoy. The staff we interacted with were respectful and courteous."

"I love staying at this hotel. Very peaceful and the staff can’t do enough for you. The main swimming pool is beautiful and clean, the walk along the river Kwai is lovely. The breakfast is amazing. I’ve stopped here a couple of times now and I will definitely be returning again. "
