It was a great location close to nice resturants. Convient to Silverstone circuit. The beds were not comfortable.

Liked: Staff & service
Property was ok for a base. Our first room didn’t have a latch or a lock so anyone could walk in. Luckily there was one more room we were able to move too.
Rooms and beds are small and the toilet and shower open right out into the sleeping area.
The guy on reception on arrival and check out was really friendly and helpful
The room was clean. But could do with an update. A small bedside table or shelf would help. Very impressed with the house keeping, room cleaned everyday and replaced tea and coffee, milk. Also towels, and toiletries. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. P.S the bed was very comfortable. But no pillow or mattress protectors!!!
We only stayed 1 night for a family funeral in the area. The room was adequate but very, very cheaply refurbed with no door on the loo and sink area, only a shower curtain! The bed was not fastened to the wall and moved everytime you moved on, or climbed onto it, comfy though. No tea or coffee facilities in the room but plenty if plugs and USB ports. Bar or restaurant not open either but good convenience store across the road - very reasonably priced
I appreciate that this hotel is an absolute bargain, and I have taken this into account. The hotel has seen better days. I had 2 rooms booked. One had faulty AC (and was south-facing), as the other had a terrible old worn out mattress. Both rooms had an ant infestation (which seems to have been an issue in many rooms for a while looking at other reviews). The breakfast (labelled as "full breakfast" on booking sites) was a quite poor continental breakfast. The only positive (apart from the price) was the friendlyness of the staff (especially the housekeeping staff).
I like using this hotel as it is cheap, convenient for my work and close to local pubs and shops. however they are poor at replying to my emails and also availability is only released in very small batches and little notice. I would have been there this week but due to their poor planning i am now booked and paid elsewhere then they release dates!! I understand they are looking to take it back to house homeless hence the poor availability. Hopefully i wont need a hotel again due to a change of circumstances. Since my last stay they have removed the kettle and biscuits from the room, took away shower gels and shampoo's - parts of cut backs?

If you are just looking for a bed it’s ok
Hotel is being renovated and therefore I booked based on all the great reviews. I was greeted swiftly on reception by a lady. Was told no restaurant available as it was day two of reopening. Ok fair enough but not what I expected after a long day and I don’t remember seeing any advanced notice of this closure. I asked could I book breakfast and was told no as the restaurant was closed.
The reception was being painted at the time.
The room was basic and tatty with areas not finished or shoddily done which in my opinion was unnecessary. The standard of workmanship was like it had been done 5 minutes before with what was left in the garage. The shower door was painted to protect modesty as it’s open in the room.
Tea facilities in the room were good
When I sat on the bed I wondered if I had sat on the floor as the mattress was old and tired. Bed was clean and I slept ok as the hotel was quiet but you can hear every word from neighbouring rooms.
Shower worked well and clean towels provided.
In the morning I went downstairs and could smell breakfast so I asked could I have some. He asked did you pre book I said no as was told it was closed so he said then you can’t have it. To which point I left and won’t return. It has the potential to be great and with a little tlc could be a lovely hotel. In its current state and for the money I would not stay again.
Enjoyed my stay, the room was better than I expected for the price, getting to the room was a bit of a maze the only problem I had was the lift was not working and the toilet roll kept falling off it’s holder
The property was okay however there was no shower gel or hand wash of which you usually find at most hotels. Also breakfast is only available if purchased when booking and not if you decide to wake up and have breakfast
Share your room with ants and no dinner available.
I had to wait over 15 minutes at reception as there was no staff. I was told they would not do any dinner and I had to walk to the town centre for food. I have a bad knee so that would be a struggle. The website said they had a dining room and would serve dinner. The biggest problem was the ants infestation in the room. This made me turn around and cancel my booking. I would never stay here again.
the room was the furthest possible from reception, it was a twin when i booked a double, the were foreign nations in the surrounding rooms, nothing was like the web sight and found out on check out it had only reopened this week, the breakfast had been reheated loads of times and i didn't wouldn't eat it, no mention that the bar wasn't operating, the shower door had been hand painted for privacy, the shower didn't drain and flooded the room, the foreign nationals were talking all night swapping rooms no sleep absolutely the worst hotel ever, how do i get my money back, Hotels.com should take off their books
For Superior room very small. Bed small and woke very achy body. The toilet the seat apart from being ill fitted seemed to small for base. Every time you sat down seat moved. The toilet roll holder was hanging off wall - therefore didn’t hold roll. The wash basin was very small and when tap turned on water splashed outside basin. The aircon either blew hot air or cold — confusing. I’m not pron to complaining but was disappointed with our room. The staff however were very pleasant.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The property was not easy to identify and poor signage to locate the entrance. The rooms are VERY basic, tired looking decor throughout and no dining available at the property. You either need to order in or go out, but not much by way of restaurants in the immediate area. The only good thing about this property was the on-site parking and close proximity to where I needed to be.
