The staff, especially Oliver, was very helpful in assisting for our local activities. And meeting the owner, and him sharing the vision of restoring the beautiful chateau makes me definitely wanna get back there in the future. Room was very clean as well, and simply walking throughout made me appreciate the place even more

The turret room was exceptional. We felt like medieval royalty. Olivier and his staff were so welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast in front of the fire and were given a personal tour of the old aquarium cave and the new sauna and spa rooms. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip to France. The only thing missing was some sunshine.

What an amazing place to stay! The limestone, rhe chateau itself, everyyhing is wonderful. The host, Olivier, was very helpful with excellent recommendations for dining and for activities. Would highly recommend the Chateau if you are near Amboise!

Excellent location for exploring Ambois and The surrounding countryside . The chateau was everything we expected and more. The host and staff were very welcoming and Helpful. Looking forward to visiting again when the new suites built into the hillside are completed .

Fabulous! The most gracious and helpful Host (owner) and staff. The grounds were outstanding and kayaks & Bicycles were free to use as well. Quiet retreat and close to Amboise to enjoy the town, castle tours, food as well as to meet with the many tours that are available!

The Chateau is beautiful and has such potential to be fabulous. In fairness we were there during off season, but we do see the need to update the bedrooms. The decor and furnishings are showing wear. The Chateau manager, Sarah, was the sweetest and worked so hard to ensure our stay was pleasurable. Sarah's service and just the pure fact that we were staying in a Chateau, helped us overlook the minor condition of the rooms. Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat!

Our experience with this stay was our favorite. The proprietor was so nice, very willing and happy to share his love of the place and how much he loved making the property sustainable. We would stay there again for sure. Our one regret was that we only stayed one night. Oliviiet helped us get a reservation at a beautiful restaurant near the chateau and kept in touch with us to make sure we got there. A truly lovely man and gentleman.
