Staff are friendly and accommodating, however the property itself was filthy and unkempt. There were numerous roaches, the floors made bare feet dirty, and there were used and damp towels in the room when we first arrived.

Sucks The Pool Table isn't there by the lobby anymore and I didn't like the fact that you have to pay for parking. Room was nice except on the last night we were there, the ceiling started leaking a little so I had to move one of the beds. The guy in the counter was very friendly.

Not the best spot. Location wasn’t great and it was pretty dirty. Staff was great and the room was quiet but I don’t expect this Ramada to last very long.

Room clean and maintained. Some cracks in the wall. Very interesting interactions at the start of the visit. After check-in was done, mostly just kept head down and avoided interactions with surrounding community. Would not recommend to visitors with children. Super sketch people around the area with a lot of motorcyclists

The staff was great at front desk. One my door would not open I guess it was jammed, front desk was great, but it took forever for the guy to come help me. Paid for a room with the view of the pier. I didn’t have one available the first night the second night they did, but their room was dirty and had bugs. They need to buy sheets and towels if they are clean, they are very stained and that makes it appear to be dirty on top of the rooms. Don’t appear to get mopped or anything. They were dirty as was the lobby, the elevators ….everywhere. The restaurant and coffee place they say they have was not open at all. Front desk staff was great

Firstly Dora on reception was amazing - so helpful and cheerful. The hotel location for use of the Trolley to the Tijuana and downtown is great - very quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to Walmart. The pool was closed during our whole stay which would have been useful in the heatwave, there was also a huge leak which affected multiple rooms and when we discovered our room had been impact we were moved 2 floors up very quickly. Parking is plentiful. If they could have fixed the pool and somehow figured out the smell in the gym which smelt like fuel it would have been near perfect for two brothers visiting SD for the first time.

It was an ok hotel with a really nice view of the bay. The first room they put us in had no working bedside lamps and a leash in the ceiling over the sink. The guy at the front desk was really nice and apologized and quickly moved us to another room. They also advertise on the website that they serve breakfast but when we asked about it, we were told that their restaurant hasn’t been open for awhile now.

Staff at the front were very helpful, however our room did not get cleaned once. We didn’t get new towels the entire week and besides when we went downstairs to get some. When we arrived the room didn’t seem to be super well cleaned either.

We had to ask twice for towels, only one person was working the desk during comic con week, the guy who checked us in knocked on our door to confirm if the room was occupied, we had to ask for a microwave, the cafe wasn’t open, the room was small and looked rundown. We are coming back to San Diego next year but will definitely avoid this property. Seddy was left by himself a lot and I have never seen the manager. One woman at the desk was very nice and the guy cleaning the walkway, Daniel was also very nice. It’s not enough to get me to go back unfortunately.

So worse experience EVER! And we are not picky stayers! I called the day before and asked if they can book me out a room for early check in and I am willing to pay any amount and they confirmed and took my information. I even offered to pay first to hold it and they said no need. As soon as we got in at 1pm they told me they released my reservation and I can not check in yet!!! I was so upset because we had our whole day planned to start early. We ended up not being able to check in till after 3pm!! We get to our room and it was strong smell of cleaning products but I guess that’s reassuring. The room had no waste in, 2 towels only, no hairdryer, no iron, clogged smelly sink, dirty walls, no phone, and the tv remote was broken and we couldn’t change any of the channels!! I went and complained to front desk on our way out and it was basically an Ehhh answer and for me to check in with them before I go to the room when we get back!! Also, the outdoor pool is empty so no swimming either!!! Our hotel is on the main prostitute street it’s so crazy!!!!! And there were ppl just hanging out on the balcony’s smoking and being loud!! So unnerving! Then our 2nd day the damn elevator went out and we had to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs with our young children!! And we didn’t want to touch the rails or anything because it reeked of urine!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. We checked in around 7:00 p.m., and the lobby was extremely busy. What stood out the most was that there was only one employee working the entire front desk. His name is Seddi, and he was helping a constant line of guests, answering questions, handling check-ins, and doing everything he could by himself. Even under all that pressure, he remained friendly, patient, and professional. He deserves recognition because he truly did an amazing job with the situation he was put in. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a different story. After checking into our room and getting ready to shower, I realized there were no towels. I had to get dressed again and go back downstairs to ask for some. Seddi immediately apologized and got towels for us, but while I was waiting, another guest came down with the exact same issue. Clearly, this wasn’t an isolated mistake—it was a housekeeping problem. The lobby also had a musty smell, and the overall property just felt poorly maintained and uninviting. My frustration is not with Seddi. He was outstanding. My frustration is with management for leaving one employee to handle such a busy evening shift alone and for allowing housekeeping to send guests into rooms that weren’t properly prepared. A huge shout-out to Seddi for staying calm, professional, and providing excellent customer service despite being set up to fail. He deserves a lot of credit.

First off. Shame on Expedia. They certainly don’t want this review posted this is my fourth attempt to post this review This dive motel does not have any sort of breakfast let alone free with stay. I have never taken the time to leave a review but this place was shady at best with homeless hanging out in the lobby area with flea ridden dog. The rooms were filthy. Floors have not been mopped in a long time. We had to keep our shoes on or our feet turned black from the floors. They tried slipping a parking fee which the kind staff waived (staff was nice truly) because the pool was closed. They said hot tub was available but it looked like someone had the runs and didn’t make it out in time. I took a broom which no one noticed likely because they don’t use them and swept our own rooms. Asked for a mop. The poor cleaning gal seemed confused and said they don’t have any and they are expected to use a hand towel that does not attach to the mop head to attempt to clean the floors. I did use this and mopped our own rooms and the towel was black both sides from mopping 2 rooms. Bath tubs were filthy and have not been scoured in years. No hair dryers in room but that’s the least of my concerns. Working door deadbolts were more in need. Oh also not the deal breaker but the two queen beds are smaller than full size beds. The sheets were clean(thankfully) until our dirty feet hit them. The staff are super nice but overworked. If you book here to save $ you are warned.
