"The bedroom was too small. When we asked about it , we were told it was one of the bigger ones. There were some with balconies and we saw bigger rooms too. They were not willing to change rooms even when we offered to pay the difference.The location was good and parking lot readily accessible. We stayed 5 days. The fridge was too small and didn't cool very much. The room was cleaned daily and the beds made and towels were changed too. Good service. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure if I would come back."

Leonardo is a wonderful host and, in my view, is the best advert for not just this delightful place, but for Umbria and Italy. He’s created something special here - all around the property and gardens one can feel the care and love that has gone into this historic residence - it has all the amenities of a top hotel but one doesn’t feel as if one is staying in a hotel, it feels way more special than that. Thank you Leonardo and all your staff for a wonderful experience. We didn’t want to leave, we loved it and will be back."
