My adult daughter and I were guests for a week at La Gabelletta, and I look forward to returning as soon as I can. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable, the hosts gracious and welcoming, the site mellow and warm, the pool clean and cool. Our blood pressures dropped measurably. We dined splendidly on homemade pastas, crisp, ripe melon with aged prosciutto and wonderful lamb chops off the grill. If you really want to experience Italy, I highly recommend the short trip to Amelia and La Gabelletta--only an hour's train ride from Rome to its simple and elegant pleasures.

Mooie kamer, rustig, mooie tuin met zwembad. Heel prettig bijkomen na een dag in de hitte fietsen. Restaurant was lekker maar het leek de bediening een beetje boven het hoofd te groeien. Als je geen haast hebt is dat geen enkel probleem

Amazing Stay

We stayed overnight on our drive through Tuscany to Amalfi and loved it so much, we booked it for our return back up north. It's the most well-appointed and comfortable space we stayed in throughout our trip. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and inviting. And the service even better. It's one of those hidden gems we'll stay at every time.

Beautiful country setting

Love the view of the forest next door - felt fully immersed in the countryside. Was easy to find and staff were supremely helpful. Room was a little cold, but my booking was last minute and it was November, and it warmed up over night. Lovely bathroom and nice, spacious room.

Charming, funky inn off the beaten path

Tasteful, colorful inn that graciously combines medieval and contemporary styles -- our room had a wooden plank ceiling with a beautiful crystal chandelier hanging from it, a bathtub enclosed by elaborate drapes and columns, a big window opening to the pool and backyard, comfortable bed, very clean. Every room is different with interesting designs. The restaurant is well known with delicious food and attracts locals from all over the area. The owner Maria makes sure guests are taken care of--very home and comfortable bed and breakfast atmosphere. There are also suites and apartments at the villa, which located in a beautiful setting of fields and forrests.
