We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The view was fantastic- we had a corner suite with a view of the sea. The front desk was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and organizing a taxi for our early morning departure. We highly recommend this property!

We stayed for two nights. We woke up early for an excursion, but grabbed complimentary breakfast on the way out and it was perfect for a quick bite as we headed out. Our room was the perfect size for our family of four. We had a tempur pedic king size bed with a pull-out sofa that the kids used. Our room was facing the courtyard and you could hear the patrons of the restaurant, but it wasn't too loud. There is a mini fridge in the room stocked with water. We had plenty of towels and they were changed out each day. This location was perfect for our trip. We were busy both days so we did not spend a lot of time in our room, but we did walk to nearby restaurants for pizza, cafe, and snacks. There is a great view of the sea from the rootop where you can lounge as well. Everything was clean, sage and had a wonderful Italian vibe.

Luigi was extremely helpful with excellent advice for travelling around Napoli. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Quite rooms, view to Capri and safe location in Vomero makes this a great choice.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights early October and everything was great. The hotel is well located in Vomero and the room had the best view of the water and Capri. Luigi was AMAZING, very helpful during check in and helped us make a reservation to a restaurant that we were eyeing. If you like a place with charm and don’t mind being located further from the water, I strongly recommend.

Excellent hotel located in a beautiful zone of Naples. Great transportation option with subway 3 blocks from the hotel. General maintenance of hotel is good. We found two issues, the sink was not draining properly and the TV remote was missing batteries. Those issues were corrected immediately by the hotel staff. It neeeds better logistics for breakfast where cutlery is difficult to find, there is only one salt recipient or sometimes a door to access breakfast is closed and difficult to open if you have your hands busy. Those are minor details. It is one of the best hotels in Nápoles and very well located. The area is safe. very well maintained for Naples standards and great night environment with restaurants and walkable streets.

I would highly recommend Chiostro San Francesco. The hotel is lovely, quiet and very clean. Our room is tastefully decorated and pretty big, the only downside is that the safe box in the room is tiny. It is not bolted down so you can just pick it up and take it away. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is located in a lovely part of Naples, we felt very safe. Close to shops, restaurants, funicular and the metro. We would definitely stay there again.

We were delighted by this hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. It’s a walkable distance from the subway (or funicular) even pulling carry-on wheeled luggage. It’s located in a lovely residential area, near two pedestrian streets that are alive with restaurants, shopping, etc. — hugely popular with locals. We loved spending time here. The hotel itself was unique, being a former cloister — and everything was well maintained and beautiful. Lovely location, high above the harbour with a nice cafe terrace overlooking it. Its location is a serene contrast to the liveliness of the older city below. I would stay here again for sure and will recommend it to any friends heading for Naples.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I had an excellent experience at this hotel and would gladly stay here again. The entire property was spotlessly clean, and the surrounding area felt safe, quiet, and well-kept. It’s also conveniently located near bus stops, making it easy to get around without a car. The staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile and truly made me feel at home. Their service added a personal touch that really stood out. The room was spacious and comfortable, with simple but functional furniture that met all my needs. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus during warmer days. The bathroom was also generously sized, featuring a large shower with excellent water pressure. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide and fresh selection of both sweet and savory items, something for everyone. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and hospitality. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a clean, safe, and well-run place with great amenities and service!

We had a wonderful stay at Chiostro San Francesco. The staff were all very friendly and helpful — special thanks to Luigi and Elisabetta for making our experience extra special. Luigi took the time to show us how to get around with local transportation and was so accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, and you can tell it’s kept updated with care. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. The amenities were excellent, and the bistro staff were fantastic — they were so helpful, friendly, and even accommodated our special request with great care. The bistro itself was very convenient, especially since it’s open for long hours. The view from the third floor was beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the refrigerator in the room, which was a nice touch and perfect for keeping our water cold during the warm days. We felt very safe in the Vomero area, which was walkable to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and other conveniences, making it easy to explore and enjoy the neighborhood. If there’s one thing I’d suggest improving, it would be the breakfast selection. While the cakes and pastries were delicious, it would be nice to have some warm options like scrambled eggs or other hot dishes. Also, having a kettle in every room would be a great addition for guests who enjoy making tea or coffee. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again!
