I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. "The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. "Large, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water.
Attractive restaurant with a good range of menu options. Ate there 2 nights and the food was very good. Some excellent desserts too!

"Our first impression with the staff was unexpected! We’d just arrived to drop off our luggage and the gentleman at the front desk offered to take our luggage to the room as we were crunched for time. A cab was waiting to take us to Highclere.
