The hotel was recently renovated. It’s clean, breakfast is great and the staff is professional and friendly. The best part is its location within Mumbai: you can walk to all major sights and there’s a metro station a few meters from the hotel.

Great location. Right across the street from Hutatma chowk metro station. Rooms are in great condition. Looks like its been recently renovated. Staff is very polite and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and well appointed. The bathroom door is sturdy and takes some effort to open. May be a bit difficult for elderly. Water wasn't hot, but given the climate that was not an issue. AC was effective and all controls worked. Restaurant on premisis although I didn't eat there. Many famous joints around with a wide variety of cuisines.The hotel offers a small single room at very reasonable prices which is perfect for single travellers.

The staff really make this hotel special. They couldn’t do enough for me and were always friendly and professional. I did enjoy the complimentary tea or coffee in the lounge after a days’s site seeing. Excellent location for all the sites in old Mumbai. The only reason for 4 stars was because my room did not have a window to look out, but the room was spotless and a comfortable bed. Highly recommended

I had a thoroughly enjoyable short stay at the Residency Fort Hotel. Staff were great, friendly and approachable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the guys who work in the restaurant were the best. A few things needed replacing in my room but it wasn’t an issue. Will definitely stay again.

Great hotel in an excellent location. The rooms and common areas were clean, tidy, and well maintained throughout our stay. What really made the experience stand out was the staff — everyone from reception to dining and housekeeping was genuinely friendly and helpful. A special mention to Pan Singh, Ballu, and Rasjesh, who truly went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warm hospitality made a big difference. All the staff are amazing here, everyone is so lovely. If you're familiar with Mumbai then this is a good place to stay location wise. It's a 10 min walk from VT station (CSMT). Breakfast is average, the ac in the room is grewt it's a bit of a crampes room and not the cleanest but perfect firna short stay.
