The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location, making it easy to explore Sapporo and get around the city. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a perfect place to relax after a full day of sightseeing. We also appreciated the attention to detail and the overall quality of the hotel. Everything was seamless, from check-in to check-out, and the hospitality truly stood out. Overall, the Grand Sapporo Hotel was an excellent choice for our visit. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapporo. "The staff were helpful with all of my requests, they understood enough English, so if I got stuck whilst trying to use Japanese they were able to incur my intentions without any real difficulty. A lot of reviews I saw complained expecting that they should know how to speak our language, incorrect. You came to their country, so you either need to learn the language or at least use translator apps. The only real drawback I had was that due to having several large tattoos, I was unable to use the spa areas, however if like me you have large tattoos, there is a very good tattoo-friendly onsen not to far away called Hōheikyō Onsen and they also have a fantastic Indian restaurant inside too."
