Very nice hotel close to the JR Tomakomai station. 15 minutes walk to Uobei Genki Sushi/Café Restaurant Gusto and 10 minutes walk to Mega Don/Family (other side of the station, and about 10 minutes to Lawson and 7-11).

Super nice hotel staffs!

The beds could have been a little better, but other than that, my mother, my daughter and I had a nice stay. We couldn't find a place near the New Chitose Airport, but if you have a car, this hotel was convenient access to the airport. All the staff were super nice. I was looking for a place to buy a card box, and they found me an empty box from the back.

We booked early and the price we paid was double what it would have been if we booked the day before. For half the price I can't really complain but for the price we paid the hotel was not worth it. Very easy to hear othe people in their rooms, breakfast was ok, but nothing special, rooms are old and show it. We will not book this hotel again.

The room was really hot because they have central air conditioning system that is fixed on heating when the temperature outside is only 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. It was so hot everywhere in the hotel especially in our room because windows are fixed to be closed. It made our stay so miserable. However, we like the breakfast.

I don't think I spent enough time in Tomakomai to get a good feeling for the area, I mainly stayed here because it was close to Sapporo and the hotel was within walking distance from Tomakomai train station. The hotel was also very close to a Don Quijote, Lawson, and Seicomart. The only room option available at the time was a smoking room, and while it was clean, the room itself seemed old and like it needed some updating. The view from my room was nice though, and there wasn't a lingering odor of smoke. The general area is quite different to what I was expecting, being quite industrial, but it still felt safe and quiet at night. This is also a port town, seeing multiple fairies coming and going daily, which makes this hotel convenient to people who may be coming into the area by ship.

The front desk was super - I had mistakenly booked a smoking room and they were able to substitute a non-smoking one right away. The place was pretty full, as well. One word of caution - the elevators close unusually quickly and don’t stop instantly if you happen to be in the way. My wife got quite a scare and although she was unharmed, we always quickly held the ‘door open’ button for the following person after that.

Very nice staff and comfortable room. Has everything you need. My favourite part was the bathroom. Very traditional Japanese bathing vibes including stool, bucket, and a small tub for you to soak in after cleaning. Perfect on a cold winter night.
