"Wonderful stay in the heart of Downtown Banff. We were disappointed the Moose Lodge was booked and got two rooms at the Ptarmigan which did NOT disappoint! Found out their sister hotels and we were delighted by very friendly staff, clean hotel and a very comfortable stay. We would stay again. I also enjoyed the close proximity to everything; it was beyond perfect over NYE. The meatball and pasta restaurant was surprisingly good and fresh; I was surprised bc it was unexpected. "A quintessential mountain lodge complete with wood burning fireplace (logs included), hot tub and very good on site restaurant and lounge. Great quiet location on Tunnel Mountain but still within walking distance to the town. Friendly staff as well. "

"The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hardest thing was finding parking as we got there early to secure a spot. Our room was quiet and comfortable but getting our suitcases to the room difficult as we had to o navigate stairs. Otherwise recommend staying there. "
