Good location, close to good bars restaurants and shops. About 10 mins walk to ski lifts, but on the main hop-on-off ski bus route. Rooms are small but comfortable, plenty of storage space, and bathroom a good size with bath and hot shower. Always find that rooms get hot and need to open balcony doors at night, so great there is no noise from the road and the sound of the nearby running stream is therapeutic. Amenities include hotel bar and ski boot room. There is an outdoor pool and sauna, but unfortunately these are not open in winter season.

A great place to stay and handy for the centre of Morzine which is within 5 mins walking distance. The staff at the hotel were exceptional with nothing being too much trouble. The room was perfect for what you need after a days skiiing. Very clean and nice and warm. Would def recommend this hotel 💯

Solo Ski Trip

A peaceful and simple stay in Morzine for a solo ski trip. For those who enjoy a warm up before the slopes it la just a 10-15 minute walk to Pleney or Super Morzine. For those that don’t it’s less than 1 minute to a bus stop and a few minutes later you’re in the centre. Conveniently located to several restaurants and bars yet very quiet on an evening. Classic mountain French hotel with Friendly staff!

Ideally positioned hotel.

We had a verybenjoyable stay at the Le Soly. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable with s balcony overlooking the river. The staff went out of there way to make our very late check in as easy as can be. They have an excellent ski room with boot driers on the ground floor which is adjacent to their sizable, safe carpark. Buffet breakfast had all you need which was a great start to a days sking. Ski bus stop i 30 yard from the hotel and bars and restaurants and bars are a shot walk away. The Soly is in an idea position.

The hotel was a good place to stay within a convenient walking distance of the centre (restaurants, shops, activities). The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, even helping us out when our hire car had a tyre pressure warning light. An excellent breakfast was provided though full restaurant facilities were not available in the summer owing to difficulties hiring staff. The décor might benefit from an update but our room (no. 5) was perfectly adequate, clean, comfortable and had a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. We would stay at Le Soly again.

This hotel is excellent value. Staff are really nice and friendly, all areas are clean and tidy, bathroom recently renovated, shower lovely and hot, great ski storage room. A short 5-10 minute walk to the village centre. Could not fault this place, thinking of returning in the summer. Thanks for a great stay.

End of ski season solo weekend.

A solo ski weekend . Nice and quiet at the end of the ski season . Great breakfast with loads of fruit . I like a healthy breakfast . The bus stop for the Pleney lift was just metres away . Price was very competitive.
