"The place is so lovely! It rained the whole time we were there and we never saw the volcano but it did not matter. We spent our whole time on the property. The jacuzzi we had was amazing and the food in the restaurants was delicious!"

"One of the best experiences my family has had over the years. The room was large and accommodated four adults and a teenager. The Los Lagos team was warm and welcoming, they answered all our questions. Breakfast selection was huge, be sure to try the M5 pineapple and banana bread. The thermal baths/pools help relax and restore our bodies and souls after our adventures in the rainforest."

"We stayed at Tabacón for one night, and it was the perfect way to experience the property. The thermal hot springs are absolutely beautiful and feel very natural, with multiple pools and waterfalls surrounded by lush rainforest. It was peaceful, relaxing, and unlike any other hot springs we’ve visited. The grounds are immaculate, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My only wish is that we had stayed longer to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer. If you’re visiting the Arenal area and want a luxury experience immersed in nature, Tabacón is well worth it."

"Very centrally located. Great staff. Rooms overlook forest and farm. Floors can get slippery with all the condensation. They provided umbrella in room which came in handy. Breakfast was just ok. They have an egg station to make your eggs the way you want. Fresh fruit and coffee. Very minimal options for Gluten Free. Pool is nice and central and open from 9 am to late at night. Offers beverages and food at the pool and has great Spa amenities.if I were to stay in Lafortuna again I would stay there."
