"Perfect good selection "

"What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

"A nice quite pub, tucked away in the countryside offering a relaxed evening meal and drink after a hard days work. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable."

"Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature."

"Very lovely couple running the Town House! Was greeted by a lovely Lily at the door (their dog)! Would recommend calling them just before you get there as it can be difficult to find a parking space on the road Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of cereals and toast"

"The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. Unfortunately the Roman blinds at the windows you couldn’t open and close which doesn’t...

"A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...

"The room was very spacious and comfortable everything and more was provided for our stay. Was offered a cream tea on arrival which of course we excepted. There was a great choice at breakfast. Terri was a wonderful host full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend. Crosscombe was a lovely village with a great pub serving good food. There was a bar at the b and b."
