"A very eclectic hotel. If you're looking for old town Europe feel, this isn't it. The rooms were large, but the AC was working over time to keep the room at a comfortable temp on the 4th floor. Breakfast (if not included is expensive) with not a lot of variety for hot items. Staff is polite and fun. The manager/bartender in the hotel bar made us an off menu margarita that we were really craving, and was off menu. Very much appreciated. Pool was freezing, but that's to be expected the beginning of May I suppose. The pool bar also was not open unfortunately. Lounge chairs would have been nice to lay in even if not swimming or drinking by the bar. Great location so close to the beach and large mall."

"When I asked about the city, Barcellona, for example, restaurent?, flamenco dance show?, bus lines, subway lines, they told me that did not know nothing about the city."

"I had a very disappointing stay at Ibis Ripollet Barcelona. From the moment we arrived, the staff were unhelpful and showed no interest in welcoming guests. There was no guidance at all – nobody explained where our room was, how to get there, or gave any basic information about the hotel. We were not informed about breakfast times, pricing, or any facilities. It felt like the staff simply didn’t care. No smiles, no communication, nothing. On top of that, I was asked to provide my card details “in case I damage something so IBIS can debit me.” Excuse me – what? I’ve stayed in many hotels and never experienced anything like that being explained in such a blunt and unprofessional way. To make things worse, there was no WiFi during our stay due to a Vodafone issue, but again, no one properly explained the situation or offered any solution. The outside area of the hotel is also quite dirty and feels messy, which doesn’t create a good first impression. Overall, very poor customer service and a complete lack of basic hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend staying here."

"The checkin process was straightforward and we were allowed to leave bags before checkin time. However, the staff didn't provide any information on what's included, what facilities like pool are available and when to access them or what attraction is nearby. For example 2 bottles of water were included, but we weren't informed that minibar was included in the room price. There was a huge festival going on in front of the hotel, we saw it once we reached our room. The staff didn't mention it when we specifically asked about nearby attractions. Bathroom had no fittings at all to hang towels and/ or clothes. Location is a bit outside the city centre also more than an hour away from airport using public transport so something to consider when making travel plans. The ac kept resetting temperature for some reason all night, so room tended to be warmer than preferred. Other than that the hotel is clean, looks well maintained, has great mattresses. "

"This is our first time in Barcelona. We selected SLS based solely upon the reviews. This place did NOT disappoint. Amazingly well appointed. Top tier quality. Technology is integrated in every nuance. My wife and I travel for pleasure, frequently. She and I agreed that SLS is one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. First floor had a club type vibe upon entry. Lots of travelers enjoying drinks and socializing. Our room was very nice. Premium touches were throughout. Impressed. Would highly recommend. The hotel manager took time, herself, to assist with our luggage - Unexpected, yet shows the level of commitment SLS has to providing an excellent experience. "
