"The hotel has Amazing views of the surrounding hills & city . It is just 10 mins walk into the historical town downhill . We got very in expensive taxi back up the hill ! The restaurant is excellent serving local dishes and breakfast superb. However the best part of the stay was definitely the personnel . "I can't praise the staff enough, they, particularly Yale, went beyond the call of duty to assist us. Although, there are some stairs up to the rooms, help was available to carry our bags. The room was clean and tidy. I wish we could have spent a couple more nights."

"Room was very clean, charming and comfortable. Interior of hotel is quiet. Rooms on front are much more exposed to street noise during the days. Hotel was very accommodating and arranged for transportation from airport and on to our next destination in Mindo. Breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful and delicious. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor."
