Expensive Candlewood Suites - Refund

I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites in Middletown, NY, with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Location: 4/5 The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping, making it easy to explore the area. Accommodations: 2/5 We were placed in a handicap-accessible room, which lacked adequate seating for our family of four. With only one chair available, there was little room for us to relax or enjoy family time together. Pool: 2/5 The pool was disappointingly cold, which made it uninviting for our kids. A heated pool would enhance the family experience greatly. Value: 2/5 Given the price we paid, the accommodations and amenities did not meet our expectations. It felt overpriced for what was offered. Service: 3/5 The staff were friendly and eager to help, but the hotel’s limitations overshadowed their efforts. Overall Experience: Our stay lacked the comfort and enjoyment we were hoping for, mainly due to the room setup and pool temperature. For families, it's crucial to have appropriate accommodations and amenities.

Very nice rooms but it is an extended stay hotel and the room is not cleaned more than once a week. They will supply towels as needed. They did not explain this upon check in. There is no breakfast provided but coffee is available 24 hours. Most of the staff was very friendly.
