We are Marriott Bonvoy members and we do stay at many Marriott hotels. We like Residence Inns for their larger rooms and kitchens. However, at Miami Surfside, simple requests for items that the cleaning staff consistently forgot to refresh typically required multiple requests to the front desk to remedy the situation. This usually ended up with us picking up the items at the front desk a day later. For the first time, staying at a Marriott hotel, we felt like the staff really didn’t care about their guests. It was rather disappointing and will be remembered.

Excellent location, superfriendly and professional staff, good size rooms. The only word of warning: there is nonstove in the kitchennette. However, they give you a small electric stove for one pot or pan upon request.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Close to the beach, Publix (for grocery needs), Surfside cafes & restaurants etc.... The staff at this hotel are amazing & friendly. The free continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well. The hotel also offers beach towels and chairs for your convenience. Just an amazing stay all together. I would definitely stay here if I'm ever in Miami again.
