We liked that the beach access was always open and easy access. It’s an old hotel, and ions were dirty, beds and towels as well. We encountered a roach roaming around our room.

The one positive for this property is the price considering the area. I would say they are in need of staff who love what they do. Everything is slow motion as far as staff. The hotel is very run down anywhere you look. Location, pricing and beach are 5 star. If just need a bed to sleep over then this is the place.

horrible, looks like something out of a horror movie. They literally had braces holding the building up from the foundational cracks. the beach was nice but the pool, the rooms, the shower was disgusting. There was no hot tub as advertised. It is in a very nice area, but really gross hotel!

This place was disgusting, worst place I have ever seen. If we hadn’t arrived at 2:00 a.m. I never would have stayed. The bed sheets were dirty in multiple rooms, the towel weren’t washed as they had boogers from someone blowing there nose. I’m disappointed a place like this made it on the Expedia website.

THE BIGGEST DUMP OF THE BEACH

WORST HOTEL I’VE BEEN TO. WE CHECKED OUT MAYBE AN HOUR AFTER CHECKING IN, ONE OF THE MOST FILTHIEST PLACES I’VE EVER SEEN. THERE WAS BLOOD STAINS ON ONE OF THE BED SHEETS AND WINDOW CURTAINS. I WOULDN’T LET MY WORST ENEMY STAY THERE. THE PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR UNSAFE SANITATION REASONS. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. IF YOU COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, THIS PLACE WOULD GET A -1000 OUT OF A 1000.

Sucks!

It's needs updating REALLY BAD! Customer service SUCKS. I took their recommendation and ate at the restaurant. There is no one to sit you no customer service. The only waitress only speaks Russian. The food was HORRIBLE and SUPER over priced (I ended up paying $48 for 2 orders of chicken strips and 2 canned sodas). Also there was a resort fee that was not included. Let's make it VERY clear, this is NOT a resort! The pool was ok and the inside of the room looked like a motel. The ONLY thing i liked was the distance to the beach and the convenience of the neighborhood.

This hotel is being worked on. It is very dated. Scaffolding is on the back side. They did not clean our rooms even upon request. Trash was left in the hallway the entire time we were there. The Free breakfast consisted of juice coffee and 2pieces of toast only. We called to check the price on parking and was told $16 but was charged $20 per night when we arrived also they slapped us with a $16 resort fee per day that was never mentioned. We had to struggle to get cups and clean towels the entire stay. We asked to speak to the general manager several times and we were never contacted and only given a card with he hotel front desk number.

Just toast to eat for your free breakfast

For staters, staff weren´t very polite. We went by car, the parking was in a dirty place. Getting our things off the vehicle for check-in was a bad a experience. I can´t even believe they charge 18 dolars/day for parking in that dusty place. Breakfast is a scam. Half glass of juice with 2 toasts? That´s continental? It´s litteraly worth 2 dollars (they offer to discount 2 dols on another menu if you want) There´s no staff at all to help you, our room was really far away from entrance and going with all our stuff was really anoying (they have a car for luggage but it´s useless) If you are looking for a bed, it´s ok. But to have a really good time and enjoy the hotel I would better research next time.

Its very terrible…i reached there half night at 2:am and the guy was telling to pay for parking..i agreed for it but then he said i also have to pay $16 a day for using resort service..they didnt gave information while i am booking..even when i booked its was thunderbird hotel ..i found out when i reach there that it was resort now ..they changed before year..also expedia doesnt help me out they said i have to pay its policy..so if its policy they should have in there website or information when we book..but there was nothing..its was totally cheating by expedia and thunderbird beach resort..if they were in contract they should have information for their customer..since i already paid for my rooms which is non refundable i have to no choice to cancel and go another resort..so have to stayed there..

Not worth it,

Room had roaches, white towels had old stains. Location is good but not worth it. Many pool lounge chairs were broken, dont know why they still have them around the pool. Part of the building is collapsing. They charged $16 for resort fee per person I asked for pool towels was told housekeeping didn't bring them to the lobby, I wasnt expecting luxury, just a clean room and free of pest and mold. I told them my room had roaches, the receptionist offered me a different room, asked me to go check if it didn't have roaches because she never had a complain from that room but was not giving me what they call a kitchen wich is microwave and fridge. I told her when I book it said the room had those two. I only got a fridge had to throw away my leftovers that I needed to heat up. Staff is very aware of the issue. I only stay in the new room because it had better AC, you cant control it from the room. I STILL SAW A SMALL ROACH IN THE BATHROOM but i stay because it was late night and it didn't seem they were going to give me a refund. The resort fee is a ripoff is not a resort at all. My reservation said it was included a continental breakfast. It did not. I would have had a better experience staying in a motel or farther from the beach. This is my first review, I knew it wasnt a luxurious hotel but the pictures are misleading. Oh and one elevator is out of service and the other looks like soon will be, dont put your family through this.
