"Centrally located with wonderful and helpful staff. Room good size but would not refer to the bed linen (sheet worn in places) or the toiletries as luxury as stated in the upgrade hence the lower rating! But good pleasant stay would stay again! I did not have food there so no comments regarding that."

"Understand times are tough for all of us including hotels but we were staying in a family room and there was no bottled water nor water fountain available so we were told we had to purchase. Cleaning of the rooms was satisfactory but had to ask to toilet roll. We've stayed in this hotel many times over the past decade and standards have dropped for sure. Staff are excellent though. Dinner was ok and breakfast is great. The pool and spa is still decent. Rooms could do with refreshing though."

"We didn’t stay for very long, but the room was clean and beds comfortable. It took a while for our room to warm up, which was a little annoying as we arrived at the hotel very late. However, the gentleman at reception was helpful and managed to sort it out from reception .
The staff were all lovely and, as mentioned in previous reviews I’d read, the breakfast was great! Overall a nice and comfortable overnight stay"

"Room very clean but a little dated yellow walls & furniture
Kettle - element broken/burnt
TV - no channels available/not working
Staff at breakfast - exceptional. Very welcoming and helpful.
Staff at check in / check out - not the best. Its the little things e.g. ask if would like to book breakfast, I had to ask after check in process. Check out - did not ask if everything was ok with our stay."

"Stayed here for an event at NEC and while the staff must routinely experience so many travellers and events, they made me feel a truly welcomed guest. Thank you everyone particularly Andrea in housekeeping who was a star.
Loved the vibe, the clean and comfortable room and the modern powerful shower.
Will now be my go-to hotel for NEC events."

"The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was rock hard and the duvet and bedsheet felt like very poor quality and the duvet cover felt like an after thought rather than being properly fitted. This all made it very difficult to fall asleep on top of the constant surrounding traffic and airport noise."

"Indifferent staff at check-in, restaurant and bar. Bags of rubbish in the corridor outside my room. No wi-fi available. It maybe a airport hotel with a high turnover of guests, but no-one seemed bothered about providing a decent service. Avoid breakfast - better off in Greggs over the road....."
