I didn't actually have bfst so can't comment but didn't have that option. Overall, good friendly staff, comfortable and well spaced rooms. Main criticism hence not 5 stars - v poor WiFi for the room (132) I was in.

Reception staff and facilities are excellent and always very clean. We stay frequently at Scarman and are always very satisfied with our stays. The only point I would make, is that we always feel under pressure to vacate our room before 10.00 during the week, with house keeping staff knocking and sometimes entering our room even though we put out the appropriate sign to indicate that we are still using the room. We are not conference attendees - we stay for other reasons and therefore do not need to vacate our room early than the 10.00 deadline.

Convenient stay

I needed a place with free parking near my daughter's uni for her graduation ceremony. Couldn't have found closer! This was actually on the campus. I slept like a log (which is unlike me in hotels). Everyone was friendly and the food was nice.

Stayed in the hotel after dropping our son off at the university. In that respect a very convenient location. The room was pleasant with a view out on a grassy area. Everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant has a very cafeteria feel with matching noise levels. So we ate a very pleasant light meal in the bar area. The food was reasonably priced and delicious, but quite large for a light snack. Slept well in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Again the noisy room had us slipping away to a quiet spot in the bar area. We will definitely stay again.
