"Overall, the hotel was lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed, although if you need an iron you need to request the whole laundry service. The staff were so helpful and really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is in a quiet area near the river but hard to walk anywhere from it. Only a short drive to Alcacer do Sal. "The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!"

"Beautiful and comfortable home. The listing was a little incomplete so it was unclear exactly what we were getting but pleasantly surprised. One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. "

"This is a very business oriented hotel in an area it is generally completely under construction. If you just need a place to put your head for the night, the rooms are very clean and the management keeps this hotel and restaurant spotless. But the rooms are so small there’s no room for luggage and I was definitely put off by the fact that there was no coffee in the room. And it would be really nice if they had a pool. But the breakfast was good and the parking lot was wide open and bright. Like...

"The location to walk around town was great. A bit further to the beach but still walkable! Rooms were small but clean and cute. We also used the pool which was nice and the breakfast was very good! The staff seemed happy at there jobs!"
