"Was very happy with my stay here with my son. The Host met me at the front door and was very accommodating. There are cheap slippers or tooth brushes if you have forgotten them. Very welcoming warm clean rooms clean Bathrooms and I must say The Host that runs the property was a pleasure to deal with. "Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you"

"Parking was not clear – it was hidden through some black gates between shops, and we had to call the owner to even find out where it was. The property is advertised as “apartments,” but our room was just a bedroom, with the bathroom and kitchen being shared. The place felt unsafe and unhygienic – the cooker alone (see photos) was a good example of the poor condition. We rang the owner, but he didn’t want to know. I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "

"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. The windows had all been opened beforehand to air out the house. Towels were provided for each person which was handy as my girls forgot theirs. The beds were quite hard but...

"We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms.
