"Honestly, I've had better stays at Motel 6. The staff were mostly indifferent about any of my requests. The room and facilities simply didn't measure up to the cost. The room was small - hardly room to open one suitcase, let alone two. No soap, or body wash dispenser in the shower. The only option was to drop the tiny hotel bar of soap on the floor, then hope you didn't kill yourself picking it up again. No Kleenex either. Yes, it's a small thing but at the price they charge... And the hotel is...

"We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."

"Zeer charmante locatie, goed gelegen, erg authentiek. Zeer mooie kamers maar helaas niet zo functioneel. Prachtige details in de inrichting en vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke wijnen van eigen wijngaarden. Op dat vlak top ! Spijtig van de dramatische WIFI en de vervelende details in de kamers (meer gericht op esthetica dan op functionaliteit). Prima restaurant."

"Sehr schöne alte Klosteranlage. Alles sauber. Personal nett. Kleine startschwierigkeiten gab es mit der Klimaanlage. Konnte aber schnell gelöst werden. Frühstück war gut. Von allem was dabei."

"La chambre était jolie en soi, mais donnait sur un parking, quand j'aurais espéré quelque chose de plus rural - "c'est la chambre que vous avez réservée", a juste dit la dame de l'accueil quand j'ai fait la moue. Un peu au-dessus des cuisines du café, aussi. Bref, un peu déçu, d'autant que les horaires sont contraignants (pour le check-in, la dégustation, le café, le jardin...), ce qui rend le séjour moins relax - et le restaurant, certes pas mauvais, se la joue un peu."

"Amazing place to stay"

"Loved this boutique property. Stayed five nights in the newer section, Le Noci, and would love to go back. The staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful. The pool was stunning. The room was large, comfy, and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and eating on the outside terrace was wonderful as the view was incredible. The only downside was the restaurant over at the older section. Would not recommend as the waitress was rude/pushy (made the evening uncomfortable) and the food was just okay....

"Such a wonderful stay at Hotel La Fontanelle! A one stop destination to fully relax and enjoy. A beautiful property, lovely staff especially Carlo! From the pool, to the restaurants, to the winery on property we didn’t feel we had to leave all weekend! The guest relations team helped organize a hot air balloon ride over Chianti! It was a magical weekend! We will definitely be back."
