This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel. Hotel was spotless and if you lucky you may see one of the ghosts that are said to roam this old hotel. Highly recommended will stay again! Glastonbury is a wonderful spiritual place with a great vibe. Pubs close early evening for food orders but we visited an amazing...

"Absolutely fantastic stay here! From the moment we checked in we felt at home and comfortable in the beautiful property. Jan and his colleagues were all helpful, friendly and enthusiastic throughout. Room was absolutely spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Food was exceptional, can’t speak highly enough about the evening meal we had it was absolutely delicious and breakfast in the morning was tasty too, super fresh pastries! Thank you for a wonderful visit, we look forward to coming back!"

"The Walnut Tree is an ideal hotel as a stop-off between destinations, if you need a break when driving a long distance. We needed a base to visit other Somerset places and the like, and chose it for convenience and its proximity to motorway and cross-country routes and its excellent over-night parking, for which it was very good. While the food was also very good (breakfast was included in our rate - evening meal had to be booked ahead, but was also very good), the area was devoid of walkable...

"The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room! The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere. A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed. Highly recommended"

"Functional stop over location breaking up journey to Cornwall. AC wasn't working in one room. Staff said it was fixed after we had been out for dinner, but it hadn't and either they didn't know how to fix it or were more tolerant of the heat. Also it's an absolute cheek that the hotel charges you to stay in the car park when it's clear everyone will need to drive to it and there's nothing else there. Other than that it was average."

"We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog.
