Excellent hotel experience in Suwa

Very clean and good rooms, with enough appliances and everything you need for hotel rooms. 10m away from JR station, you will walk pass by 2 convenient stores and some restaurants. The famous lake is just nearby the hotel and I think most of the rooms can have great view of the lake. There are four parks around the lake which one of them is just in front of hotel. You can go for a walk after dinner. You can also enjoy hot spring and nice breakfast of countryside fresh food products.

依照google的導航從下諏訪車站走到飯店有點距離，但實際可以走另一個出口比較近。整體住宿感覺很舒適，而且櫃臺剛好有一位台灣人可以協助介紹，有問題也會講解很仔細。建築很古色古香。

歴史のあるホテル。見事な庭、露天風呂もある。ホテルとしてはあまり宣伝していないようだが横溝正史、ミステリー好きの人には特におすすめ。

素泊まりで１万円弱はちょっと高いのでは。（部屋の状況から）夕食を5400円で付けると言われたが、駅近のホルモン焼き屋でかなり食べて飲んで2000円で上がったので、頼まなくてよかった。富岡製糸場の創始者の創設ということで、由緒があるらしく、昭和・今上天皇陛下がお泊りになったとのこと。ラウンジにグランドピアノがあり、「お手を触れないでください」にはがっかり。

片倉館に隣接し、諏訪湖が眼前

GW中に家族で利用しました。父親が足が悪く、部屋割の券で配慮して頂けたのが、嬉しかったです。片倉館（仙人風呂）の無料券も嬉しかった。もちろんホテル館内の温泉も清潔で満足。 眼前の諏訪湖ビューもさることながら、彫刻広場公園で散歩や軽い運動ができて非常に快適でした。

家族４人で晩秋の季節に利用した。 駅からも近く、目の前の諏訪湖や中央アルプスの遠望が最高の場所。 諏訪湖までは、徒歩2分。ボート乗り場までも７分。 隣の洋館風の公衆浴場片倉館までも、徒歩５分。 食事も気づかいが行き届いて気持ちがいい。 信州ならではの食材が豊富、量もちょうどよく満足でした。 地酒もおいしかったです。 ホテル創始者が、生糸産業で往時をおう歌した片倉一族ということで 関連展示がされており、諏訪の産業史の勉強にもなった。

老舗の宿

天皇陛下も宿泊された老舗の宿です。 但し、宿の造りは古く、改装した方が良い。 スタッフは親切、丁寧。 風呂は、片方は少し狭い。昼夜で交換するので両方試した方が良い。 片倉館の無料券がもらえるのが、嬉しい。 コンビニは近い。

Dadami room

Dadami room was fine. Room has own toilet and bathroom(Old style) but cold water didn't come out. The only hot water. Internet is working the only at the robby. No internet(Wireless, wire) connection at the room. Out of room looks not clean.
