The electric fan provided was industrial​ type, too strong and noisy too. The shelves were covered with dust as was the mirror. In the morning, the chef did not show up to work, and the waiter could not even to warm a muffin!?"

"The Kings Arm was in such a good location in Woodstock within walking distance of all the shops and beautiful Blenheim Palace. It is nice to stay in such a historic pub and hotel, but as with many aged facilities there are some trade offs. The bed was very comfortable, but the room could get incredibly hot. The room is also quite tight for 2 travelers. The small shower needed servicing as the metal soap, shampoo holder was totally hanging off one side and also had poor drainage, once leaking...

"We had an goid stay at Macdonald Bear Hotel. The staff were excellent throughout, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our room was a good size and the location is fantastic, especially for exploring Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. Breakfast was ok, decent options but limited buffet.
