"We stayed here a couple of years ago in the winter time and always said we would like to try it in the summer months. Really didn't disappoint at all. Good food, drinks and staff, plus clean well maintained rooms..excellent and i would certainly recommend anyone to stay just for the breakfast in the morning... we'll be back someday again.."

"The hut was very clean and comfortable and suited the four of us perfectly. We also appreciated the fact that there were only two other huts in the field and there was space between them. Despite arriving quite late our hostess met us and made sure everything was ok. The swimming pond is a wonderful bonus and we would definitely return. Thank you!"

"High Hedges surpassed my expectations! The apartment had everything to truly make it home away from home, including fresh flowers in the living room and bedroom. Coffee machine, washer dryer and fully equipped kitchen with comfy lounge seating and the best bed we had in our five weeks of travel are a credit to Melanie and David’s focus on their guest’s care. Communication prior to our arrival and the warmest of welcomes on arrival make for happy and relaxed travellers. Bus stops are located adjacent to the property so if arriving into Oxford via train very easy to navigate to, or I as we did discover further afield. Plenty of off street parking available. Would definitely stay again."

"What a lovely cosy shepherd's hut in a quiet field with 2 other huts well spaced apart. I never heard any of the other guests. It was perfect as a little hideaway to relax after working in the area. Very clean."
