"Room was comfortable and fit for family, bathroom and dresser also spacious , dinning area was very useful but small problem was the kitchenware like pan and pot was degenerated from used and kitchen tools smelly, so I brought new one instead. Every morning breakfast was perfect for everyone.

The blue ribbon sushi is stellar and the new corner restaurant attached to the hotel as well and has good food and vibe.
(7-11 next door can be deterrent for some)
I would recommend to refresh couple of elevators .
Nice gym.
For buz travelers I would ask for earlier coffee in the lobby.
Or put Nespresso or Illy coffee machines "
"Our stay at Charlesgate Suites was lovely. The whole building was extremely clean and our room had all the basic necessities. The little espresso machine and pods were a nice surprise.
It's about a 4 min walk to the green line station entrance, maybe 10 min to Fenway and 15 min to Newbury St.
The street itself is beautiful, very "Boston" with all the multistory brownstones.
I do wish there was a closer convenience store where you could get bottled waters and things. This is no fault of...
"Staff are fantastic. Location is perfect for Harvard. Rooms and shared bathrooms are periodically cleaned. Breakfast is good with just enough options. Coffee and cookies served all day to guests. Lobby has desks if needed and luggage storage. Only complaints are that the neighbors can be loud (not something the B&B can control) and the overall place is a bit older. This gives it a great home-y feel but also means the pillows are flat as if they have been run over by a semi. If you want swanky...
