"The room was very clean. You can tell it’s been renovated, but they did a very nice job. Overall, the experience was great. The front desk was very helpful. I was not able to check in early, but they helped my luggage while I went to explorer city until my room was ready, and they also held my luggage when I was leaving. Due to my late flight, I still wanted to go and explore, but not carry around my luggage all day and they were helpful in storing it until I could return. The hotel is located in a great area within the city. My only complaint was that because I stayed during the weekend at times the bar located on the ground floor was a little bit too loud, but it wasn’t too disruptive and I was still able to get a proper sleep. If you are planning to take the subway or public transportation while you’re there is located in a great area where the subway station is only about a 15 minute walk away. And there are local bus stops about 10 minutes away. It’s not located directly in downtown, but you’re close enough to downtown where you can walk and enjoy things such as the public library as well as the Boston Park. Overall completely enjoyed my stay if I were to ever go back again I would definitely stay here. Also, I booked a room that had a shared bathroom. Honestly, I do not have any complaints. The bathroom was always clean. They’re always towels there and the showers look spotless. I stayed in the king bedroom by myself, but I do think it’ll be great for a couple as well."
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Boston - Cambridge
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was exceptional. We had to extend our stay because our residential building suffered a fire and we still can’t return. From the very beginning, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They not only helped us extend our reservation, but also checked in on us and asked how we were doing, which meant a lot.
We’re still staying here now and will likely extend again for the same reason. Everything has been spotless, both in the room and in the common areas. The indoor pool was wonderful and helped us disconnect for a bit during a stressful time. The food was also fantastic, especially the sirloin and the French fries. Thank you so much for the excellent service and for treating us with such empathy."
"I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. The staff is very welcoming and accommodate all requests in a very prompt manor. Centrally located to Coolidge Corner, Fenway, TD Arena and most Universiy"
"Terrific room, we always appreciate a second chair/sofa and still spacious. The property is undergoing renovations which made bar/evening dining unavailable and weekdays noisy, but the staff made extra efforts to accommodate all we needed. easy walk to back bay amenities and the T. We'd absolutely stay again"
