"I have stayed at the Public multiple times of the past several years, and now with a college student in NYC visit even more often. The highlights of the hotel are: the design of the rooms is brilliant- warm and modern, making them seem larger than they are, the common work area- inviting and spacious with comfy sofas, the cafe downstairs (shoutout to Noel!) as well as the garden space out front. Over the last few years the hotel has experimented with automated checkin (zero staff at checkin) which didn’t work well and have now landed on a hybrid of auto checkin and staffed kiosk which works really well. Will book again!"

"Excellent Hotel location in Manhattan and the price was unbeatable! Reception and check-in was smooth and with very courteous personnel that explain and provided guide to get around the hotel. The room was a good size, well prepared, clean. Since this building is historic I'm wasn't expecting a luxurious, modern amenities or conditions in the building. I will not pay for the "breakfast" option wheb booking again since there was no buffet like in most hotel breakfasts. It was only three items: Coffe, Juice and one toast or muffin. There was not a small refrigerator and no USB-C chargers connectors in the room. At my arrival I've noticed a smell that seemed to be due to the humidity and high temperature (92F) on the day of my arrival. Overall I'm satisfied, I will return to this hotel and recommend it."

"Amazing stay at Hotel Edison! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Times Square and close to Broadway theaters, restaurants, shopping, and subway access. It made exploring NYC incredibly easy and convenient. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and full of classic New York charm. Our room was comfortable, well-maintained, and surprisingly quiet considering how central the location is. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations or questions. We also loved the atmosphere in the lobby and the dining options available in the hotel. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City!"
